About

Welcome to Feast & Friends in the Ozarks! I'm so glad you're here. This site is my way of sharing the incredible flavors, people, and traditions that make me feel at home in the Ozarks. After nearly four years in Arkansas, I’ve learned how to seek out farmers, artisans, and small businesses that pour their hearts into what they grow and create. Their hard work has changed the way I cook, and I'm going to share that experience with you.

Recipes here are delicious—regardless of where you shop—but I’m passionate about the way high-quality, local ingredients elevate a dish and connect us to the people who produce our food. Some recipes come together easily, others take more time, but they’re all inspired by something special to me—like a perfect cut of meat from a local farm, something fresh and seasonal, or another ingredient I couldn’t resist.

As more people move to the Ozarks, it’s important to know how to tap into the local food scene. What I know now, I’m happy to share—and as I learn more, I’ll pass that along too. I hope to inspire that same connection for you, but if you're not interested in what’s “in the Ozarks,” skip the blog and jump to the recipe.

If you’re looking for flavorful dishes and want to support local farms along the way, you’re in the right place.
